Raising the alert: enabling everyone to promote the lawful, fair, open and transparent functioning of the institution by exercising the right to express their views freely.
The alarming law helps Latvian residents to prevent violations and damage to the public's interests, while protecting alarm lifts from adverse consequences. With effect from 4 February 2022, Latvia has a new Alert Raising Act, which takes over the EU Alert Creating Directive, improving the approach to date.
